"The Working, Working Actor"
had to unlearn that working a job to pay your rent does not make you a failed actor. I am a “Working, Working Actor.” My entire life I’ve heard the standard gossipy, ego-damning phrases that vulnerable artists are exposed to. Why do we let them hurt us? Why do we think the worst about ourselves? Being hateful is easy. Being truthful in the face of that hurt is challenging. We lean into the myth that if I book, I have talent. Talent doesn’t exist only when an actor books or gets an acting job. It’s not something that comes and goes with jobs. It lives inside of each and every artist forever. Click here for full article. Manager - Cinda Snow of Snow Entertainment
Cinda Snow is a Producer, Talent Manager and the Founder/Owner of Snow Entertainment. As a talent manager, her clients have worked on feature films, as series regulars on a variety of networks and streaming services, and in commercials. She began her career as a manager for her daughter, actor/producer Brittany Snow. Cinda is a producer on the feature film FATIMA and IM Mortal (Origin Entertainment). She is in pre-production on the films BUT NOT FOR ME and PRAY FOR SURF, and TV series TRADING FACES. Having a master's degree in education and also working in the entertainment industry, she has seen the need for more entertaining as well as transformational media that motivates audiences, resonates with their lives, and reflects who they are. Cinda was a Vice President in Market and Sales for several educational publishers. Her role was to identify emerging trends to develop products to meet the needs of the students in the classroom. Educators and the entertainment industry share the same goals to engage, inspire, and motivate the same audiences, and she loves the opportunity to help tell great stories and share a variety of themes. Cinda is a Member of the Academy of Arts and Sciences and HRTS and Women in Film. |
Dubbing
Deb enjoyed a dubbing experience doing miscellaneous parts for a project "not to me mentioned! " Beautifully directed by Brittany Falardeau with James engineering the entire experience was magical. Deb likened it to doing a radio play with pictures! She looks forward to more opportunities in this new and burgeoning area of creativity. HBO Film |
